Eurolink Motorway Operation M3 Ltd is responsible for the winter maintenance activities on the M3 Clonee to Kells PPP Motorway including precautionary and reactive treatments of the M3 Project Road.
The project road comprises the mainline from marker post 7.35 to 56.6 including all interchanges and associated roundabouts:
- Dunboyne Junction 5, slip roads, roundabout and the R157 link road to the R147 including the R147 roundabout
- Dunshaughlin Junction 6, slip roads and roundabouts
- Blundlestown Junction 7, slip roads and roundabouts
- Navan South Kilcarn Junction 8, Slip roads
- Navan North Athboy Junction 9, slip roads and roundabout
- Kilmainham Junction 10, slip roads and roundabout
- Kells Junction 11 and roundabouts
Winter maintenance period commences on the 1st of October 2024 and lasts until the 15th May 2025.
Eurolink Motorway Operation M3 Ltd as the PPP Co. on the M3 Clonee to North of Kells has the responsibility for execution of the Winter Maintenance arrangements on the Project Road, with the aim of ensuring the safe movement of traffic, road users and the general public on the Project Road, and with the aim of minimizing any delays caused by adverse weather conditions.
To ensure this Eurolink M3 will monitor the road and weather conditions from the 1st of October 2024 and lasts until the 15th May 2025 so that the necessary precautionary treatments are applied to the project road, and a rapid response is made to any deterioration of prevailing weather conditions or forecasts.
We remind drivers to exercise caution and reduce speed whilst travelling in adverse weather and to ensure that vehicles are winter ready.
